Roman
One of the most popular window treatments which works well on a variety of window sizes. An economical solution to dressing a window as less fabric is required than for curtains. Romans can be fitted either inside the window recess or outside for a more generous look. Operated either by a control chain or can be motorised and operated by a remote control handset or using an App on your phone.
Roller
Now available in a large range of fabrics and one of our most popular selling blinds is the sheer range which offers a neat alternative to net curtains yet still provides privacy. Especially good for sunny windows and large bi-fold doors as some fabric ranges block up to 96% of UV rays. Roller blinds can be manually controlled with a chain or motorised and controlled by remote control or using the App.
A variety of trimmings can be attached to the lower edge of blinds for a unique look. See our section in Finishing Touches for more details.
Wood Venetian
Wood and Fauxwood venetian blinds are available in colours from white through to dark Cherrywood. Prices range from the affordable Fauxwood and Sunwood blinds up to the top ranges from Silentgliss. Most are available in slat sizes of 25mm, 35mm and 50mm.
Metal Venetian
These offer complete privacy due to the curved shape of the slats and are available in several sizes: the ultra-narrow 16mm, the most popular 25mm, and 35mm as well as 50mm which provide a robust sunscreen for larger windows.
Options include side guiding and hold down clips for blinds mounted on doors and shaped edges for sloping blinds.
Vertical
Used to be regarded as a functional window dressing solution, but with an extensive range of fabrics to choose from, these blinds are especially good for sliding doors as they fit neatly inside the window recess. Also available in aluminium and PVC coatings in two different vane widths – 89mm or 127mm.
Velux
Custom-made to fit each skylight window perfectly, these are available in a wide range of colours and designs, including blackout blinds, roller blinds, and pleated. Operated either using the tab at the bottom of the blind, or for hard to reach windows, these can be motorised and operated with a remote control handset.
Pleated
Perfect for standard windows, front doors, conservatories and some bi-fold doors. Pleated shades are available in a range of colours. Useful in square bay windows as the smallest headrail is just 25mm and they can be fitted close together at right angles.
Some fabrics are treated with a coating which resists dirt and moisture or deflects sunlight and heat, particularly useful for conservatories.
Panel
Best suited to large windows, patio doors and can be used as a room divider in your home or business.
Panel Blinds are a contemporary alternative to vertical blinds. The unique panel blind tracking systems, allow up to 6 panels to operate, either all to the one side or splitting in the middle. There are no chains involved and the panels don’t rotate, they simply slide behind one another using a control wand.
